Shiba Inu passes 1m users milestone
Nothing should be considered shocking to the world of crypto, but Shiba Inu’s latest feat has certainly raised some eyebrows.
Shiba has officially reached the 1m holders mark despite currently trading 50% below its peak.
The whole community is buzzing at the news, which was accompanied by a mini-surge in the price of the memecoin.
At the time of writing SHIB is trading at $0.00003807 according to coinmarketcap.com.
The community will be hoping and praying it can get back to its October peak of $0.00008190, which came to an abrupt end possibly as a result of whales collecting their profits.
Other news in the world of Shiba Inu included Bitfinex Derivatives listing SHIB with Tether-paired perpetual contracts.
Bitfinex Derivatives, a derivatives platform accessible through Bitfinex, yesterday announced the launch of perpetual contracts for Shiba Inu (SHIBF0:USTF0), OMG Network (0MGF0:USTF0), Bitcoin and Euro Tether (BTCF0:EUTF0), and Ethereum and Euro Tether.— Yilla (@Yilla_chongCRY) November 24, 2021
SHIB, behind only DOGE, remains one of the most popular memcoins on the market today, and is in the top 15 of all cryptos by market cap.
