The largest movie theater chain AMC adds support for crypto

American cinema chain AMC Theaters has begun accepting cryptocurrencies as a means of online payment. This was announced by the CEO of the company, Adam Aron.

Users can pay for tickets using Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin. According to Aron, the company will add support for Dogecoin in the future.

A month later, Aron promised to add support for Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash.

Aaron later conducted a Twitter poll whether the company should integrate Dogecoin. More than 68% of survey participants spoke in favor, and two weeks later AMC was already accepting DOGE for digital gift cards.

In October, the CEO also launched a similar poll for Shiba Inu. More than 81% of respondents agreed with the idea.
