Binance US appoints new CEO
Brian Shroder, president of Binance US took the CEO chair. He replaced Brian Brooks, who left the company in August.

In May 2021, Binance US announced Brooks' appointment as the company's CEO. However, three months later, the specialist left the post, citing "differences over strategic direction" among the reasons for his departure.

According to New York Magazine and The New York Times, Brian Brooks stepped down as head of the American branch of Binance due to a conflict with the founder of the cryptocurrency exchange Changpeng Zhao.

Shroder was appointed president of Binance.US in September 2021. Previously, he was a strategist and business development executive at Ant Group, an affiliate company of Chinese internet giant Alibaba, and was also an executive at Uber in the Asia-Pacific region.
Binance.US also announced that Chief Financial Officer Joshua Sroge will leave the company. Eric Segal will temporarily take over his duties. The U.S. arm will continue its search for a permanent CFO with the help of recruiting firm Reynolds Associates.
